Geithner gets Wall St Payday

By Justin Koritzinsky

Former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is slated to join private equit firm Warburg Pincus as president.  This is Geithner's first job in the prive sector in 25 years.

Geithner served as president of the New York Fed until 2009, when he was tapped by Obama to become the next Treasury Secretary.  The focal point of his time at the Treasury was the Troubles Asset Relief Program, colloqiually known as the "bailout."

A note from the future: be on the lookout for Geithner's new tell-all memoir.  As part of his book tour, he will have sitdown interview on Comedy Central's The Daily Show hosted by John Stewart.
