In InfluenceDC's annual rankings of the most influuential senator, Lindsey Graham (R-SC) came out on top.  Graham was one of only three Senators to achieve a connectedness score of over 100.

Graham edged out two very senior Senators: Thad Cochran (R-MS) and Jay Rockefeller (D-WV).  Come next year, Graham wil have weaker compeition when Rockefeller retires in January.

The rankings are based on InfluenceDC's network analysis algorithms.  Yes, that's the same thing the NSA uses to analyze the meta data on our phone calls.  Unlike the NSA though, the targets of our analysis aren't national security threats.  Thanks to partisan gridlock, the politicians we analyze pose little threat to the American public.
