Former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour (R) is rejoining the lobby firm he helped start over two decades ago.  Barbour will return to BGR the month after his second term ends.

 

Barbour previsouly served as Chairman of the Republican National Committee in the 1990s.  After a seven year return to lobbying, Barbour was elected Governor in 2003.

 

He claimed to have considered a presidential run, but admitted that he didn't "have the fire in the belly."
